Can a doctor "move" a tiny clot without killing you?!

Question: Can a doctor "move" a tiny clot without killing you!?
I saw a dr at the imaging center and he made it sound like I had a miniscule clot in my ankle--I had it checked because it kept swelling-- now the ankle seems fine!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

The short answer: "Depends"!. Clots are usually not particularly dangerous in your leg!. But if they become dislodged and move up into your lungs, it can cause a very dangerous pulmonary embolism!. I would be asking the doc a lot of questions right now about getting a "doppler" check to see where the clot is, how big it is, and getting some clot-busting drugs!.

If you become short of breath for no apparent reason and it gets progressively worse, get emergency medical attention immediately!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't know!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
