You might have some nerve damage do to the surgery!. It is not uncommon to experience the symptoms that you are!. It take a long time for nerves to recover, if they do at all!. If thing it is a big problem you should go to see a neurologist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It kind of depends!. If the surgeon hit a nerve (not uncommon and I'm sure you signed a waiver saying you won't sue them if you do - I'm sure you remember, you know that part where they inform you right before they wheel you in that: as with all surgeries there is a possibility of death - yeah, the nerve thing was there too) it might never come back!. You are doing physical therapy which is great and a must for any lower extremity surgery!. Try to find out when the numbness is worse!.!.!.!.is it in the morning when you wake up!? You might try propping your foot up at night!.!.!.!.!.is it at the end of a long day!? You might talk to your doctor about a support sock for blood flow!.
Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
