Run it under cool water until it stops hurting!. Do NOT put butter or any other greasy substance on the burn as it will trap the heat and make the burn worse!. There are products made specifically for burns that you can use on it!. Lightly bandage the burn!. Use nonstick gauze and make sure it completely covers the burned area!. Use medical tape to affix it to your husband's hand, making sure the tape is only touching healthy skin, not the burn itself!. Burned skin is very fragile, you don't want to end up ripping any of it off!.

its too late!.!.!.!.he should have ran it under cold water the second it happened!. butter makes the pain go away but it will come back when you take the butter off!. I would just stick to an ice pack for as long as possible!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
