While I was still on the steps Jakes friend steve got my dad!.(My mom left because of her stomach) So that was around 7o'clock!. My ankle hurt so I got on the couch!. It hurt for like another 2 hours!. Now it's 11'00O'clock where i am!. And it still hurts!. I don't know if it's just twisted or broken!. I can't go to the ER because it's late and mom +dad are sleeping!. It hurts enough that I can't put any weight on it or twist it!.

So mu question is should I iwait till tomorow!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
sleep tonight!.!.!. go to the hostpital in the morn if it is still that bad!. Unless you broke any blood vessels (you'd know) or broke the skin you don't need to have a broken foot taken care of right away - just DON'T put any stress on it!!
they'll take x-rays and probably a boot or cast if needed!. I broke my foot on a friday night and the emergency room gave me crutches and said to go see my dr on Monday to see what else was needed!.!.!.!. go figure!.!.!. Monday my doc put me in a cast!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ummm i don't really know that much about injuries but my friend was roller blading and she fell and hurt herself and we didn't know if we should have taken her right away so we waited two days and then took her to the er and she had a fracture but the doctors said it was a good thing we waited cuz they wouldn't have been able to put a cast on her until the swelling went down any way!.!.!. sooo!.!.ya i hope that helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yeah you should probably wait until tomorrow at this stage!.

In the meantime put some frozen peas on it for 15 minutes every hour (good for compression)!. Elevate it above your heart as much as you can!. Put a compression bandage on it to help with the swelling!. Take some iboprofen for the pain and swelling (read the dosage on the box) and whatever you do, dont use heat of any kind on it because it will make it worse!.

If its no better in the morning definately go see a doctor or go to the hospital!.

And if you start to lose feeling in it, or get pins and needles, wake your parents up and get them to take you tonight!.

Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

realistically, as long as you don't walk on it, there should not be a change in your condition, you will have heard a snap in your leg, you should be able to tell!.!.!. and at all times, do not walk on it, tell your parents in the morning and DO NOT STEP ON YOUR INJURED LEG!.!.!. to answer your question, as long as you are not in terrible pain, then yes, you can wait until tommorrow, remember, don't put weight on it!.!.!. definitely go see the doctor tommorrow, since if you don't it could possibly make the bone-setting process harder, if it is a break!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you can't go tonight, try soaking it in some epson salts, it usually eases the pain for me!. If its swolen, put some ice on it!.

You should get it XRayed!. Breaks & Sprains are both extremely painful!. If its broken, it might need to be set, so that it grows back together right!. (Otherwise the side of your foot could look like it has 3 ankle bones sticking out like mine!.)

Whether you should wait to go, should be up to your parents!. If the pain is intolerable you might want to wake them up and tell them how much pain you are in!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
