Question: How do you stop your cut from bleeding!?
i cut last night and its still bleeding and my arm is turning all bruised and hurts to move!. i asked my bf what to make it stop and he said put a plaster on it!. then he stopped talking to me!. what the heck is plaster!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds like a serious cut if it hasn't clotted by now!. you could use an elastic bandage to put pressure on it, but then again make sure you won't block the bloodflow by making the bandage too tight!. if that doesn't help I thing you might need to see a doctor for stitches!. Since tourniquets aren't really legal anymore, and plaster doesn't make much sense (it's a construction type of material used to hold drywall in place) it is probably time to "fess up" and let your parents help you!. You NEED to see a doctor!. Band-aids aren't going to help now, and like above, you may have hit a vein or artery!. Due to bleeding time and systolic pressure, I'd say it's an artery!. Which is a big problem!. In the meantime, use several old cloths or hankerchiefs under pressure to keep bleeding down!. If it doesn't work, get to the ER now and keep the "bandages" on!.

hun if you are still bleeding from last night, then you need to be seen!. Or you can it the strips that hold the cut close!. applie pruesser!. You need to tell your parents hun!. I don't know how bad it is bleeding, but it sounds like hyou hit a good vien!. If I where you I would go get seen!.

Put firm but NOT hard pressure the wound!.!.!. If you are still bleeding from last night then you have a deep cut and you NEED to go to the ER ! You could get an infection that could kill you and you might want to see if your Tetanus shot is up to date too b/c they will give you one at the ER!. Your choice either bleed out and die or conquer your fear of Doctors and GO TO THE ER!. Your choiceWww@Answer-Health@Com

compressing the wound helps give time for coagulation to began by slowing the flow!. Also ice helps as it constricts the blood vessels!. A turniquit above the wound slows the flow also but if it is on the head do not put one on the neck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
dont put plaster on it!.!.!. get some gauze and put it on the cut, keep your hand in place and apply pressure!. if that doesnt work, get an ice pack, put it on top of the gauze, keep pressure in place and get to a doctor, sounds like its a nasty cut worthy of some stitches!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Apply pressure to a cut, unless it is pumping blood out, then still apply pressure but get to a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
