I didn't sleep last night?!


Question: I didn't sleep last night!?
For the past year, I've had occasional nights where I can't fall asleep; it happens about three times a month!. Sometimes, however, I have nights where I don't fall asleep at all!. The first time I didn't fall asleep the whole night was in late January!. I was worried I would never fall asleep again, but I did!. But then just last night, I didn't sleep the whole night!. I am afraid I will never sleep again, but I kind of know what the problem is!. I had a whole lot of caffeine yesterday- 9 cups of coffee, a Snapple Iced tea, two large diet soda's at a restaurant, and another medium diet soda!. I know I had too much, but can caffeine like I took yesterday keep me up the whole night!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'd be tempted to say yes, but from personal experience, I've at times had 20 coffees in one day and STILL managed to knack seven hours of sleep!. Mind you, it took months of practice (I was studying for my University finals at the time)!.

Seriously though, drinking that much caffeine is simply not good for one's health and yes, it might be inhibiting you from sleeping!. I'd suggest you replace diet sodas with water and have cup of herbal tea before going to bed (make sure it doesn't contain caffeine)!.

Yes it can, my rule it have no more than 2 cups of coffe aa day and never after 3pm!.
