Answers:
No don't be alarmed!. The liquid that is coming out is called blood serum!. It's a component of blood!. Usually when a laceration, cut, ect is healing the last bit of fluid left in the wound is the serum from the blood!. It will heal up and stop oozing!. It's not a bad sign, in fact, it's really a good sign!. Just keep the wound clean and sterile and you should have no further problem!. If, however, it stars to turn into a green thick ooze with or without a foul smell then get to your dr!. asap! That could indicate infection!. Otherwise, it's cool!. Don't worry!.!. Lots of luck to you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Is the wound site hot, red or swollen!? Is it hard to the touch!? If the answer is yes to any of these questions you should get back to the doctor!.

A wound can seep after the stitches are taken out, but it is not the usual!.

The palm of the hand is a nasty place to get a laceration, because it is difficult to heal and the chances for infection are greater!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If the stitches are already out and the wound has been healing, I would recommend that you see your doctor about it!. Especially if the liquid that has oozed out has an odor, is bloody-looking, or is greenish/yellowish!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
