I have insomnia problems due to lots of exciting activity in last two weeks?!


Question: I have insomnia problems due to lots of exciting activity in last two weeks!?
I'm not able to catch sleep even when it's like 5 AM in the morning!. I don't take caffeine, exercise regularly and in good shape!. It's just difficult to separate my mind from things which excite!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Listen, you've just convinced yourself of that -- and you're getting used to the lack of sleep AND under it all, secretly impressed with yourself, that you can pull this off!.!. (been there)!. There's only one secret here, and one way to normalize your sleeping patterns, and you know that the battery is simply and electric battery that NEEDS recharging, right!?

Just go to bed, go to bed!. Shut the TV, radio, PC, phones, etc!. off and just go to bed -- you brain will get the message!. If you roll around for hours, it doesn't matter!. (People do that from time to time!.) Just re-adjust!. Get to bed!. Alone!. You'll get some sleep, believe me!. No doubt, this has already happened to you, too, in the past!. You know it!. The best thing I take is called "Simply Sleep" tablets from Tylenol (over the counter)!. It's non habit forming and it works really well!. I tried others but yet this to me is the best!. Take it 1 1/2 hours before bedtime and gently fall asleep!. It helps you calm down and get a true full nights rest!. Also at first, try going to bed a little earlier just to make it right!.

I had the same problem because I now work very early in the morning and just like you, my mind races and thoughts throughout the day are still bouncing around in my head, my body is still on the "keep going mode" and I just wanted to go to sleep without disturbances!. I usually like to read in bed as I am falling asleep!. I find that it helps me to NOT think about myself and my life, I concentrate on the book instead!.

Another thing I will sometimes do, and I KNOW it sounds weird, I will think out steps of making my bed and REALLY concentrate on each step as if I am really doing it!. I never get to arranging my pillows!. I just push EVERYTHING else out of my mind!.
