Hello!.
First of all, I had the exact same thing happen to me about 5 months ago and I had it pierced (at the time) for about 8 months!.
Some people are allergic to the different type of material!.
When there is a red bump or like a pimple-ish looking thing, it can mean that you might have had an infection in that area and a place to dispose of it would be in a pimple form!. Or you might have really oily skin!. The nose is part of the T zone, one of the places on your body that is really oily!.
I still have my piercing and the way to take care of that, or well it helped me!.!.!.clean the piercing every day!. Make sure to use like bactine or some cleaner and make sure it gets in the hole where the stud or ring is at!. The hole will close if you don't put it back in and it will hurt really bad when you try to put it back in!. Keep the piercing in (if you still want it), but keep it clean; clean it several times a day!. Also, keep the piercing moving so that the skin and cartilage around it won't close up around the piercing!. Cartilage piercings take about 6 months to heal or longer, depending on the person!. Keep it clean!.
Or keep the piercing out until the wound has healed completely and go get it repierced!. I know it hurts but that's the best way I can think of because I've done it before!.
Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
