I had the exact same problem about 3 years ago!. Not fun at all!. I used Benadryl and prescription hydrocortizone cream left over from a previous bout with poison ivy a year or two prior!. You could probably use over the counter cream such as cortaid, but it's not as strong!. I also used baby powder to keep things dry down there!. Poison ivy thrives in a moist warm environment, which unfortunately is where you have it!. Try to keep it cool and dry, and shower often!. It should run it's course in a week or so!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Poison ivy is the worst! I'm so sorry you ran into some, I had poison ivy too years ago and practically bathed in Calamine lotion, it never went away!. I hate to say you should see a doctor, if you can't then do a google search for poison ivy remedies or something!. Or see what others say here!. But I went to the doctor, after suffering for weeks, and he gave me a lotion that took it away!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
