Why do people not look like themselves when severely burned?!

Burns that severe destroy tissue and muscle, which dramatically changes the way a person appears!. There's also the swelling and trauma from constant corrective surgeries and skin graphs to take into account!.

Facial structure is pretty much just bone covered in muscle!. When you take away the ability of the muscles to maintain their previous state, the entire face changes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
