Cold sores ?!
Question: Cold sores !?
yesterday at work, my lip started feeling tingly and then started getting red and i could tell that i was getting a cold sor!. i woke up this morning and it was huge, my lip was was really swollen and it is all white!. usually, when i get them about 1 time a year, they are small and have never been this big!. what will help it go away the quickest and could it be something other than a cold sore!? it is just way too big for me to think its a cold soreWww@Answer-Health@Com

I get ANNOYING cold sores often, and from how you described the oncoming of it it is DEFINETLY a cold sore!. I had one on my middle upper lip just like the one you described, it touched the tip of my nose, it was HUGE!
Cold sores are much easier to get rid of if they are treated at the time of oncoming, but obviously it's too late for that!. Abreva is an over the counter cream that works very well, if you get cold sores regularly I would suggest a prescription medication, I use Zovirax!. It is best to get them to dry up because moisture just makes the cold sores thrive, so I would advise you not to use things such as Carmex, Blistex, etc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
