I always thought that you were supposed to get under a doorway when an earthquake is happending because that is usually one of the sturdier parts of the house!.
Anyways my girlfriend lives in Japan and she says usually when an Earthquake happens she has not time to think about getting under stuff she just covers her head and hopes she does not die!. But I'm sorry I don'r know their government's official procediers for citizens reacting to an earthquake!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
