Experiences with HSA?!


Question: Experiences with HSA!?
I thinking about changing my traditional health coverage to an HSA plan!. I'm researching banks/etc!. to see if it makes any difference where I open my HSA!. Any advise!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It really doesn't make any difference where you open the HSA as long as you have a qualified high deductible health plan that meets IRS guidelines to go along with it!.

As long as you keep the plan in force for at least 12 months then you can enjoy all of the nice tax benefits that go along with an HSA!.

That being said, there are a few things that you may want in your HSA:

1!. The ability to write checks!.
2!. The ability to use the HSA card just like a debit/credit card!.
3!. Online banking!.
4!. Low monthly fees!.
5!. High interest rate/possible equity investing options!.

If any of the above things are important for you to have in your HSA then be sure and bring them up to the bank that you are considering!.
