Bruises occur when blood is released from the capillaries and is trapped under the skin!. The good news is that by the time you notice a bruise, it's already well on its way to healing!. It typically takes 2 weeks to heal/disappear!.

Initially, a fresh bruise may actually be reddish!. It will then turn blue or dark purple within a few hours, then yellow or green as it heals!. Therefore, the yellow color of your bruise should be a good sign :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Bruises can be many different colors depending on the amount of blood that is under the skin, how deep it is, etc!. I have had bruises turn a yellowish color!.!.!.nothing to worry about!Www@Answer-Health@Com
