Question: Smoking on patches!?! pls help i need a fag!!?
im wearing a niquitin patch, 21 mg - its the first step!. i really really need a cigerette and i would have one as a one off if i thought it wouldnt give me a niquitin overload - can anyone help pls im dying here!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I know people that have smoked on the patches, but it's not good and could make u really ill and do nothing to help the quitting, if you really want a cigarette you'll have to lose the patch first!. But try getting an inhalator, apparently they're pretty good, and kill the physical addiction of holding a cigarette!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Having a cigarette while on the patch is a double no-no! One, you could have a heart attack from nicotine overdose and two, you will undo all of the good you are doing by quitting smoking!. I know it is hard (been there) but you have to keep your mind on your goal not on what you are missing!. You'll be healthier, have more money and you won't stink like an ashtray!

The patch shoudl be curbing your physical need for a cigarette!. Try chewing on a straw or something!. That is another part of the smoking habit that gives people trouble!. It isn;t the physical addiction that troubles everyone!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
When this happened to me, I ripped off the patch and had half a smoke!. I didn't die but it's not a good idea!. You're supposed to wait until the nicotine from the patch leaves your system!.

Take the patch off pick up a fag and light it, you obviously don't want to give up!. Trust me, it took me 12mths of panic attacks and chest pains to get off the fags and thats what lies ahead for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
