Question: Best way to get rid of a sore throat!?
Anyone know any good at home methods of relieving a sore throat or speeding up the healing process!. Started feeling sick last night, sore throat, I also feel swelling, also kind of stopped up!. Know any good tips to get over this quickly!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Gargle with warm salt water (I know - it tastes gross but it works!) and drink hot tea with lemon!. If you're stuffed up, the drainage could be making your throat hurt, so take some sudafed for that!. Hope you feel better soon!Www@Answer-Health@Com
I don't know which country youre in so can't suggest remedies you can buy over the counter- in the UK theres a nice spray called "difflam" which is anti-inflammatory and calms down the throat pain!.
Otherwise the best home remedies to make the throat feel better are
1) Salt water gargles (just a spoon of salt in a cup of water) beware this may make you gag but your throat will improve after
2) Aspirin gargles - use dissolvable aspirin instead- slightly less irritating than the salt
3) Plain old honey - just have this straight frm the jar- any type- also helps with coughs- proven to be more effective than most cough syrups

Hmm, my husband has also tried to convince me oral sex is the way to cure a sore throat and I don't buy it either!lol
