Ankle pain??!


Question: Ankle pain!?!?
I've been having ankle pain!. It started today!. I didnt trip or fall on it but yesterday i went to Universal/ Islands of Adventure for my birthday and was walking around alot!. My ankle hurts REALLY bad!! I can't put too much pressure on it!. It's not broken- at least i hope not! (I have graduation in 1 week!!) But could it possibly be sprained!? Or even just worn out!? Could I have pulled a muscle or something!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ankle injuries are one of the most common injuries faced, and you don't even need to be exercising to hurt your ankle!. It is important that within the first 48-72 hours of the injury, that you implement the RICER regime (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation and Referral to a doctor if the pain doesn't subside)!.

Yeah, it could just be overused!. Try icing, like you would for a sprain and use really good shoes such as tennis shoes with good heel and arch support for a few days!.

I have foot and ankle problems and hate to wear closed shoes and even prefer to walk around barefoot at home, but my feet suffer for it terribly when I do go barefoot!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
