Trouble with sleep?!


Question: Trouble with sleep!?
i exercised a lot on tuesday, slept without any problem that night!.!.!. the only amount of exercise i did yesterday was play catch with a football with my brother, i drank a glass of warm milk w/sugar, took a hot shower, took 6mg of melatonin(two tablets) and didn't get any sleep what so ever last night but i did manage to get a few 2-3 hrs after 5 am!.!.!.!. this is a really huge concern to me, the biggest problem is getting to sleep!.!.!. i can manage getting back to sleep if i awake in the night but again getting to sleep is my challenge!.!.!. what are some techniques i can use to get to sleep faster, it's really hard for me to keep a daily exercise schedule!.!.!.!. also should i take chance on valerian root instead of melatonin!? someone told me it works more effectively!.!.!. give some advice thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

So part of the solution is getting enough exercise!. One of the reasons exercise works is because it is time that you spend just being a body, IE a time when you are not thinking much!. If you think all day it puts you into a mode of thinking and then you think all night!.

My advice is to do something like taking a bath and drying your self and then putting on something you rub on like lotion or even powder, to keep your attention on your body just before you go to sleep!. The milk drink is good for much the same reason!. Be sure to brush your teeth after the milk and again keep your attention on the sensations of the toothbrush against your gums and teeth!. You'll do a better job of brushing while you're at it!.

Get into a habit of doing the same thing every night and do it at the same time every night!. Taking either kind of pill won't work well until you get your sleeping ritual worked into your life!. Then you have to find out if you need more help!. Pills won't help until you don't use sleeping time to solve your problems!. So first you need brain management (body focus stuff) and then you might need problem solving management ( so you don't resume thinking) before pills can help!. Both kinds of pills help in different ways for people who are ready for them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
