If you compare this to a woman wearing high heels for all her adult life, it's not that different, I would think!.

Women don't necessarily have arch problems from this, unless their shoes are ill fitting or provide no arch support, and if so, the problem can occur suddenly with one new pair of shoes!.

The problems likely from walking on the toes is more with shortened tendons on the back of the calves!. This is easily avoided (or corrected) with gentle stretching exercise!. Go easy, as the Achilles tendon will become irritated if overworked too quickly!.

If his pain persists, a visit to a podiatrist is in order!. Loss of mobility is a huge problem for older people, so catch any problems early!Www@Answer-Health@Com

If he's walking on his toes it's probably because his Achilles tendons are far too tight, turning him into a "spring heeled jack"!. Some good physiotherapy should be able to stretch the offending muscles and give him some relief from the pain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's actually a sign of autism!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
