Can Lyme disease cause depression?!

Yes it can because your in so much pain you dont have your regular life!. !.!. so yes you wuld be depressed and yes depending on how you deal with life you could be suicidal!.

This lady knows practially everything there is to know about lyme and I would contact her if you are feeling like your dr is not treating you properly!. SHe is the head of the lyme disease org in USA!.

Sure, if the theraphy you are taking is anything like what a friend of mine endured when he got lyme disease, it surely can!. You should consult with your doctor and let him know how you are feeling and he should be able to provide you with something to help you!. The big thing to combating any illness is a positive attitude, and strong character!. Having endured cancer and it's treatments for over a year, and survived, I know how difficult it is to pull you butt out of bed, and keep going one more day when it seems like it would be so nice to just lay back down and go to sleep forever!. I think anything can cause depression!. If you are depressed and have thoughts of suicide contact your doctor!. There is medication out there to assist you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
