Clumsiness?!

Question: Clumsiness!?
It sounds like an odd question, but recently I've noticed that I'm becoming really clumsy, and I'm for ever walking into doors, chairs, desks and such, or catching my hands and feet on something!. I couldn't even open a door without grazing my knuckles on a brick wall the other day!.

It seems like my depth perception is off!. I had my glasses changed recently but I haven't had any problems with them at all!. Could the change in prescription be causing all this clumsiness, even though it hasn't affected my driving!?

I'm not usually *this* accident prone, and its getting annoying!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I wear glasses and contact lenses and I am only clumsy with out them! The lack of correct vision without them obviously can cause a problem!.

There can be other factors that affect clumsiness such as dehydration (even to a small degree) low blood sugar or tiredness!. Your blanace can be affected if you have a sinus infection or cold!

It may be a problem with your inner ear that effects bance but if it was I think it would be much more sevear! If you are very worried please see a Dr they will be able to advise you and test to rule things out!.

Hope that helps!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It could be something to do with your glasses, maybe you should consult your optician about this!.
I've been doing the same thing on a daily bases for the past few months now and it's driving me daft! I recently went for an eye test and I was told by my optician that my sight wasn't perfect, but still wasn't bad enough to need glasses!. Which I have to disagree with because I've noticed myself that I have to screw my eyes up more to see things clearly, and I've also been seeing white dots and stars in my eyes aswel, which is something I didn't get up until recently!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

for me this is an almost daily occurrence too so I'm feeling your pain!
But as you're not usually like this it might just be a case of getting used to your new prescription as it can be disorienting at first especially if it's been quite a big change!.
However if you start getting headaches go back to the option pronto!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's just normal, especially for people with glasses!. try getting lazer eye surgery or something!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
