Kinda silly but how can I make my wrists stronger?!


Question: Kinda silly but how can I make my wrists stronger!?
It's just that when I lift certain weights I get a pain in my wrist, I guess it's like it feels a little sprained even though it isn't!.!.!.

The wrist is one of the most useful, and delicate, parts of the human body!. In order to make your wrists stronger, I would recommend stretching your wrists prior to exercise (lightly rotating and bending them with a little resistance)!. The first exercise has to do with just holding a certain amount of weight!. Find 2 moderately heavy dumbbells and pick them up with a firm grip!. Now, contract the underside of the forearm, holding the motion for around 30 seconds!. If you are able to last the 30 seconds, increase the weight!. For the second exercise you'll need a curl bar with about 5 lbs of weight!. Grip the bar like you would for an inverted bicep curl, now lift up with your forearms!. If you feel the weight is too light, increase gradually!. The third exercise is to take 5lbs dumbells, hold your arms out infront of you, and with a steady controlled motion rotate your wrists back and forth!.

Paxus has a good answer!. I would like to add that there is something called a Dyna-Bee that is also excellent!. You can find it a The Sharper Image!. It relies on gyroscopic torque to give your wrist and grip a real workout!. The faster you get the gyro spinning, the more torque you have to overcome!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

when i was doing gymnastics my coach told me to get a can of spaghetti or whatever and just lye over my bed or something so only half the bottom of my arm was hanging over and just move my wrists up and down with the cans in my hands!. i never did it but sounds like it would workWww@Answer-Health@Com

I would say get some 2 to 5 pound weights lifting them up and down moving only your wrist for about 100 reps each with them every day!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
