hi, i had broken my 5th metatarsol in my right foot on the 24 of april and gt mycast off yesterday and it was fine for like the rest of the day but today when i walk on it which i can, at the end of the day my calf and ankle are really sore feelslike a dead eg which wont go, i cant walk, get up the stairs or even g to the loo the pain is so bad, i have to work on saturday where i stand up all day 7am-3pm serving customers will this pain go before saturday or what!? it feels like my muscles are tight and hurt when i rub them!?!? what can i do!?!?!?!? tried getting in a hot bath massaging it and nothing seems to be working!!!! any advice would be fab thanks x x x danielle xWww@Answer-Health@Com

You are experiencing what is known as "compensation pain"!.
You are using muscles in your calf and stressing your ankle in an unconcious effort to avoid putting stress on your foot!. Avoid the heat treatments and use cold compresses!.
You can go to the doctor, or try taking some over-the-counter muscle relaxants and see if you get any relief!.
Minimally, call the doctor's office and see if you can get an extension of your off-work notice until you can see him!. Do that today so you have time to notify your employer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
