Bleeding ear piercing?!

Question: Bleeding ear piercing!?
Hi, I got my second holes done on my earlobe probably 6 or more months ago!. They have been a little fussy, more than my first holes!. Well, my left one started hurting a little a couple minutes ago, and I took it out to look at it/clean it!.!.!. well, it's bleeding a good amount!. The other ear is better, but not 100% great!. Am I having a reaction to the piercing!? Is it just not going to heal!? I tried putting the left one back in, and there's a bump inside the lobe, so it hurts like HELL to try and get it back in!.!.!.!. Should I just let them heal up!? That would suck, but if it's for the best, I should!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try rubbing alcohol and if it doesn't clear up in a couple of days you should see a doctor!. Clean the earrings and dip them in alcohol before putting them back in!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You may want to go ahead and let those grow over and have them redone!. I had to do that with my third because of an infection!. If you're not quite ready to do that, change your ear rings to something nonreactive like stainless or surgical steel!. It is possible to find ear rings made out of these materials!. Clean your ears with the solution they recommended when you got them pierced!. I know it seems silly to spend the money for it, but it really is perfect for it!. Very gentle!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It could be that you are allergic to nickel, which is in earrings!. I am allergic to nickel, and they hurt extremely bad when I had my first piercing!. I ended up letting those close up, and stopped wearing nickel!. When I had the first holes redone several years later, I had no problems!. Also no problems when I had my second and third sets done!. But a year after getting the third set done, I had exactly what you are talking about!. Bleeding, the bump in the hole, and pain!. I just cleaned the hole several times a day, and it healed on its own!. Four years later and no problems since!.

Since you had yours done over 6 months ago, they will not close up!. They only close up if you leave the holes empty for a long period of time within weeks of getting them pierced!.

My advice is to leave the holes empty for a while, clean them with peroxide, and let them heal!.

After they heal, try switching to nickel-free earrings and see if this helps prevent it from happening again!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
