ive been having lower back pain for 5 days and its been affecting my leg and foot i always go on mayo clinic to see what i have and i think i might have it anyone think i do!? and shud i go to the emergency roomWww@Answer-Health@Com

In the ER they will give you drugs possibly!.!.!.!.they will not be able to correct the source of your pain!.!.!.!.try a chiropractor, a part of your spine may be misaligned and pressing on that nerve, a series of adjustments can relieve the pain, especially if it just started!. Ask friends, family and co-workers about recommendations for a good chiro!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
sciatica is a totally normal thing for people in their 30s-50s my mom just had it for a couple days!. just go to your doctor and he'll get you some meds for it, you just have to wait it out!. there is no need to go to the ER!. my mom works in the ER and they make fun of people who go in for such things!. in the meantime try some heat, and i hope you feel better!Www@Answer-Health@Com
My father had leg pains that the doctors blamed on sciatica for a full year!. I took him to the Hospital for Joint Diseases in NYC and they discovered a tumor wrapped around his spine!. That had caused the pains in the leg!. He died 2 years later!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
