What could this be? doctors/nurses help?!
Question: What could this be!? doctors/nurses help!?
my dad has been having this foot pain on and off!. it's on what people call, the 'ball of the foot' but ontop!. look at the top of your foot on the big toe, and look just benieth and there's a joint!. it's swelling REALLY bad!. even if you touch it as LIGHTLY as you can, he says it stings and hurts
this has been going on for about a year!.
he's limping, and right now he says he doesn't feel good, like he's sick!. but it could've been from working outside in the pouring rain all day!.
oh yeah, he wears work boots too!. could it be arthritis, or an infection!? plz explain if you have an idea, i'm pretty youngWww@Answer-Health@Com

I am not a medical person but from experience with pain I think your father should definitely see a doctor!. When a person is feeling pain for that long it is saying that there is something wrong and it needs to be taken care of !.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Gout is definitely a possible diagnosis!. If your dad has kidney problems then that is definitely true!. An infection sounds imminent and I would go see a orthopedist ASAP!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I had this same pain!. I did not if it was gout or if it was from the shoes I was wearing!. Anyhow I talked to a wise, old woman!. She gave me advice!. She suggested I cut back on eating so many sweets!. She knew I loved dough nuts!. She also suggested I drink cherry juice!. She added this would help if I had gout!. A week later I felt much better and the swelling and pain in that area was gone!. So get your dad a bottle of cherry juice!. Also try to have him cut back on sugar!. I also had to stop drinking beer!. Both are bad for gout!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
