One of my friends introduced me to Oxycontin this summer, and what a horrible decision it was for me to start!. It's the most addicting drug I've ever had!. When I don't have it, I feel terrible!. I've been trying to take less and less each day so I might be able to eventually stop completly, but this isn't working!.
My question is how do I get a perscription to suboxyn!? I'm 21 and still on my parents health insurance!. Is their a way that I can get it, and not have my parents know!? Because I don't want them to know I ever messed with any drugs to begin with!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The only way is to go to the doctor and get a Rx for it!. You're 21, the doctor or insurance can't give out your medical info to even your parents without your consent!. If you go into your doctor and explain the problem he will help you!. They respect those patients that have a problem and honestly seek help!.
You are making the right move trying to get off the pain meds!. I have a spine injury and have been in a pain management program for years!. I've seen so many people ruin their lives with pain meds it makes me sick!. I've been a pain med abuser before and it's tough to kick!.
But unless you have been doing 80mg a day or so for more than a few months it won't be that bad!. Even if you go without anything most of the problems will be in your head!. You'll have sleeping problems, muscle aches, and with the short time you have been taking them even those symptoms will be minimal!.

And don't get down on yourself for getting messed up with them!. It a very common problem!. It's just an illness!. I know you don't want your parents to find out but trust me,,,if they knew that are understand you have a problem and want to correct it they would be very proud of you!.
One other idea there is a 14 methadone detox program that would get you off the oxy's without much discomfort!. You can just look up a methadone clinic in your area and it will cost you about $120 I think!. Just don't let them talk you into going on a methadone maintenance program where you stay on it!. I made that mistake and it took me almost a year of lowering my own dose by 5mg at a time to get off it!.
PS: I take oxycodone and hydrocodone every single day for my spine injury!. Yes I am addicted to them,, but addiction is just part of treating chronic pain,,,abuse is where it becomes a big problem!. I found that out the hard way and I NEVER take more than directed no matter how much pain I'm in anymore!. It's not worth the pain of withdrawls!.

It's a controlled substance, so getting it other than through a doctor is illegal!. The doctor must keep your information confidential even to your parents, as for insurance paying for the medication that might be harder, but they might not inspect the activity at all!. The doctor can probably help you more with this!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Own up to it!. Parents will know; the insurance company will inform them at once!.
Your parents can help you with your addiction!. It is so hard to do on your own!. Tell them!.!.!.believe me, as parents they do suspect, and they will be relieved to know the truth!.
