Broken little toe?!

Question: Broken little toe!?
How would you know if you have broken your little toe!? I snubbed mine really badly today and within about 30 minutes it was black on one side and it is very painful!. I know the doctors can't do anything, so I am not intending to call them, just curious!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds like a broken toe!. Possibly some damage to other small bones in the foot!. Don't think there's any way to tell for sure without an x-ray!.

I've suffered a few broken toes, and the best way I've found to deal with them is to loosely wrap cotton around the broken one and tape it to the one next to it!. The cotton cushions it, and taping it the one beside it acts as a sort of splint, giving a little support so the broken one doesn't bend too much!.

I was waiting tables the first time I did it!. I felt much less pain wearing sneakers than in any other kind of shoe or just going with the broken one in a sock!. I guess the structure of the sneaker gives it the support it needs to stay mostly immobile!.

Hope you heal soon!Www@Answer-Health@Com

it probably is broken but ur right there is really nothing that they will be able to do!.!.!.

the best thing that u can do is to try and support it with a piece of cotton and tape!.!.!.!.

although u may want to get an x ray in a couple of days just to be sure that nothing is seriously injuredWww@Answer-Health@Com

i have broke my toes a number of times alot of times it will turn black you cant step on the front part of your foot and if you break it very bad you wont be able to bend it for some time i know it hurts and there is nothing you can do for it just rest and feel betterWww@Answer-Health@Com

It might be broken, but I'm not a doctor and I'm not there so I don't know!.

What you can do is to tape it to the next toe after wrapping it in gauze or even cotton balls!. Do that for two or more weeks, and it should heal fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
