Why does your foot go to sleep?!

Question: Why does your foot go to sleep!?
What happens when your foot/hand goes to sleep (if you were sitting on it or something)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Sometimes, after you have been sitting on your foot, you get a prickly feeling in it!.

That feeling means that not enough blood has been moving through your foot!. You have been squeezing the veins and arteries so that blood could barely pass through them!. When this happens, your blood cannot carry waste out of your cells!.

Your nerve cells become "poisoned" with waste!. They are not able to send messages to your brain!. Your foot feels numb, and we say it has "gone to sleep"!.

But when you get up and stretch your foot out again, blood suddenly starts flowing again!. The nerves on your foot begin to send a lot of messages to your brain!. You feel all the activity as "pins and needles" pricking your foot!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

When blood flow is restricted or cut off it 'goes to sleep'!. After you get up or change your position the blood flows back to it all at once and you get the tingly feeling that's often referrred to as 'pins and needles'Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's when you've cut off the circulation or blood flow to your foot!. Your foot feels all tingly because blood is finally getting back to the areas that weren't recieving blood (and therefore oxygen) just a moment ago!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You have positiioned your limb so that the blood flow is cut off, depriving your body the oxygen carried by the blood, which also has an affect on your nerves!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Basically, you're cutting of the circulation!.
