God I hope you didn't listen to the moron who said to put egg whites on it!. Man, people are stupid!.

Burn care is very simple!. Cold running water for at least 15 minutes!. Period!. NO ICE!. Your aim is to stop the burning without cutting circulation!. Ice cools the area too rapidly and impedes circulation!. Do NOT pop blisters!. It's your body's natural bandaid!. If you do, keep it as clean as possible - have a clean, dry dressing on it - the only thing you might want to put on it is Neosporin but not right after the burn!. Never put anything oil-based on a fresh burn!. Actually, never put ANYTHING but water and fresh bandages on a new burn!. No egg whites, aloe, butter, ointment, olive oil or any of that other old wives tale bullhockey!.

Keep it as clean as you can and it should be OK after a couple of days!.

Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

you have a second degree burn DO NOT POP THE BLISTER, it is protecting you against getting an infection in the wound!.
Keep it in cold water till it stops hurting, you can repeat that if it starts hurting again, but not more than 10 minutes at a time!.
Then just protect the blister, and it should have healed between 7-10 days!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Been there, done that!. I feel for you!. I just kept it cool!. I used cold water or washcloth soaked in cold water!. I didn't use ice because I remember hearing that ice can actually be bad for burns - like it's too cold, too much of a shock!. So, I would check that before icing it!.

Mine blistered - I think I had two on one foot, and one on the other!. I had to wear maryjanes for a while because they were the only shoes that didn't hit the blisters!. They took a bit to heal!. Once the blisters went down I was left with dark purple marks that eventually faded!. I still have light discoloration, and it's been 2 1/2 - 3 years!.

If you think it's really bad, you could go to a doctor!. I never did (maybe I should have, don't know), but they healed, and nothing ever went wrong!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Breaking the blister puts you at risk for infection!. Put some neosporin on it and cover it!. Keep it clean and covered until it develops a scab!.

Next time: cold water for 15 mins, don't pick!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

get egg whites and put on the burned area or alo vera !!! ice it keep it cool the effected area or if its real bad head out to urgent care good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com
