You are not supposed to take pain killers before getting a tattoo!. Most pain killers thin out your blood and can interfear with the healing and tattooing process!. Also, when I got mine I had to sign a form that said I hadn't taken medication, including advil!.
If it's on your leg, it really shouldn't hurt!. Sensitive places like hands or underarms or areas by bone like upper backs or feet are usually the only real painful ones!.

it actually isnt as painful as you think!. my sister in law has a few she says it really doesnt hurt!. it depend on the size but you can get a local anesthetic!. 2 hours before take a painkiller that contains ibuprofen and codeine i know they do this as well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
either try some advil, motrin, tylonel or however you spell it, or just deal with that pain!. one of those pain killers will ATLEAST help reduce the pain by alot!. good luck with the tatt!. hope it doesnt hurt too much!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
