Annoying scars...?!

Question: Annoying scars!.!.!.!?
I have loads of scars/cuts all over my legs!. They cover from my knee to the top of my leg!. There are also cuts on my arm!. I don't want anyone to see/notice these scars and cuts!. This question isn't about going into how i got these though!.

The thing is i'm going shopping for a ball dress in a couple of days with a friend!.!.!.i can cover the ones on my arm with a big plaster/band-aid (i hope) but i don't know about the ones on my leg!.

I would just get a longer dress but i think one just above my knees would be better (i'm quite short)!.

Would she wonder why if i was to wear tights under my jeans the day we went!?-just clear ones!.
Would it look weird if i was to put a big plaster/band-aid on!?
Would fake tan/foundation cover these scars and cuts!?
Any other suggestions!?!.!.please!.

I'm really worried about this day but i don't have a choice!.!.i have to go!.

I have a solution on how to reduce scaring in the fututre but this is just for the short term probem(next week)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Having gone through many years of trying to hide scars, I can offer you some advice, but even though it initially sucks to for people to find them -- it's totally worth it in the end to have people know, and be able to hold you accountable for your health!. But that's just a disclaimer, and I'm sure you've heard it before and some girl on Yahoo! Answers isn't going to change your mind!. So onto my advice: well it depends on if the scars are still scabs or if they have faded into the skin!. You can try foundation, and it should work on both, but it will work much better on scars that have already faded into the skin!. Depending on how close your friend is going to get to the scars if they are fresh you might not be able to hide them!. If you want to wear tights, try wearing jeans with holes in them, or a mini skirt with tights so that it fits with the outfit!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well first off next time you want to cut yourself if you don't want any problems either don't do it or do it on your stomach or some less obvious!.

Also you could also just tell your friend or you could you foundation depending on how big they are or how open they are!. If they are fresh that would not be a good idea because they could get infected!.

How bout leg warmers and arm warmers!?

Anyways good luck, and talk to a therapist, it'll will be better in the long run!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

dresses that come to just below the knees look nice on short girls too -- i think that's your best option - the others might attract questions as well, and you want to be able to just relax and have funWww@Answer-Health@Com
