Sprained muscle?!


Question: Sprained muscle!?
i have a sprained muscle in my foot!. i can walk but it hurts when i do!. when i wake up in the morning my foot is stiff so i can barley walk!. but then after a couple of hours it will start to unstiffin!.but once in a while my foot will start to hurt!. ive had it for 2 days now and i need a cure!. can anyone help!?=*IWww@Answer-Health@Com

ICE IT! That will reduce the inflammation and help the surrounding areas from becoming inflammed, too!. If you do nothing else, ice it!!

Do the RICE method (which someone should have had you done from the beginning) - Rest, Ice, Compress, Elevate!. Rest means don't walk on the foot!. Ice it for 20 minutes every 2 hours!. Icing should be uncomfortable (because it is cold) but not painful!. The skin should start to feel numb when you are just about finished!. Compress it using an ace bandage, wrap it up to lower the swelling!. Then elevate the foot - rest it on some pillows or something so the foot is above your heart!.

Do this for 2 days, then go to a massage therapist or physical therapist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

arnica gel or rub, you can get it at whole foods or a health food store!. oh yeah, soak it in epsom saltWww@Answer-Health@Com

how do you know it is a sprained muscle!? a sprained muscle won't start to "unstiffen" after several hours of use!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
