If you really think your friend is about to take his life, you should call a crisis control center (or talk to your school counselor if still in school)!. You might be afraid thinking he will be mad if he finds out, but if he's dead, you are without a friend!. If he is depressed and your phone call saves his life, he will thank you for it later on!. Call 911 and ask them for the number (crisis hotline)!. They will send someone over to talk to him and if he says even one thing to make them feel he is suicidal they will admit him into a hospital for observation!. Your friend is lucky to have a caring friend - one more thing, even if you hide everything he could use to kill himself, he will always be available to find something else (sorry, can't list the items -what you are asking in your question- because I don't want to give anybody ideas)!. Someone can easily overdose by taking pills, but the most effective way to make your roommate not commit suicide is by telling someone about the situation!. Making sure there are no pills around is a good start, but then again, there are many other ways a person can kill oneself!. My advice would be to talk to your roommate or someone else that you really trust!. Your roommate needs to see a doctor or psychiatrist!. I hope all goes well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Yes the most common way is tablets and alcohol but it has been known for people to hang themselves or suffocate with polythene bags!. It is best to let someone know if you suspect your friend is of frail frame of mind!. They might not like you for it at first, but in the end they will know you are a true friend because you care!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
If he is really suicidal, he will succeed!. He may be just reaching out for help!. Get him into a car and take him away, far away maybe into the country for some fresh air and good conversation!. Find out what is wrong and get him to open up!.
There are ropes/belts/ string to hide ( for hanging), pills to dispose of, hoses for exhaust to hide!. It's just too many options to try to circumvent!. Get him help!. Even if you have to knock him unconscious, do it!. Good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

the common way use to be tablets but nowa days a lot of the chemicals that people can OD on have been taken out of sum pills such as paracetamole!. a lot of people naw o days either slit there wrists or hang them selfs because they have been found to be more effective ways!.

there are different ways of commiting S but as u know help her/him by removing all that can be related to commiting S also take time off & talk to her help her maybe she listens to u!.If a goes well he will always turn to u for advice u will make a solid friendWww@Answer-Health@Com
