Pain in my hands?!
Question: Pain in my hands!?
I've noticed a pain in my hand for the past few days!. Its a like a dull sore kind of pain and I feel it on my right palm just under my fingers!. I spend a lot of time at a desk typing and creating ads/flyers/ etc!. Is this kind of like carpal tunnel!? Any ideas!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
Answers:
When I had carpal tunnel, that is exactly where I experienced the pain!.!.!.
Try a wrist brace to help relieve the pressure and take ibuprofen (Aleve, etc) twice a day for a while - several days at least to see if you get any relief!. The ibuprofen reduces the inflamation and can help!. However, if this continues, you may have to have the surgery - depends on whether you can get it cleared up on your own!. Ice down your wrist after work - take your ibuprofen and rest that wrist as much as possible (the function of the brace)!. You can get a good brace at Walmart or a drug store - don't go cheap - get a good one!.

Could be carpal tunnel, could be arthritis, could be nothing, could be referred pain!. I was told by an ER DOCTOR that he had a female patient go into the ER complaining of 'pinky pain'-- she was having a heart attack and didn't even know it!.
Go to the doc's just to be safe!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
