Pulsating artery?? Does anyone know what causes it?!

Question: Pulsating artery!?!? Does anyone know what causes it!?
Hi all!!

I have a question!.!.!.does anyone else get pulsating arteries (I thought they were veins but veins cannot pulsate, only arteries can!) I get them, mostly in my arms and legs!. Sometimes only for one, two or three pulses, but sometimes they continue for about 30 seconds, and you can see it through my clothes!. Also, it can make small limbs like my toes or fingers move!!

It really freaks my friends out, and they have said I need to go to the doctors! Is it something I need to worry about!? Does anyone know what causes it!?!?

Many thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have the same thing!. I just started getting a pulsation in my leg and decided I should try to look on line and see if I could figure out what the heck it is!. But I've had no luck so far :( I think I am just going to have to ask my doc the next time I see him!. I have had this problem off and on for years!. When it happens (every few weeks or so) it could be in almost any artery in my body and could last anywhere from 10 seconds to 45 minutes! It is just annoying when it happens and I'd be very happy to find something that would make it stop!. Hope you (and I) find an answer soon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The pulsations are waves of blood from your heart's left ventricle that goes throughout all your arteries!. It is normal!. If these pulsations stop, you are dead! You can feel the pulses in your wrists and beside your voice box, among other locations!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

All arteries and veins pulsateWww@Answer-Health@Com

It's when they don't pulsate you should be freaked out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
