Is a dent in you shin a good thing ???!

okay i was goofing around and i hit my shin off of my cousins knee and i heard a crack and i looked at it like 5 seconds after and it was dented in and it was black and blue and it hurt like reall ybad enough to cry but i dodn't want to be a wimp so i nevr cried even thought it was hurting enough to cut my leg off and then i showed my aunt bonnie and she asked if i wanted to go to the hospital but i said no i didn't want to be a bother so i just walked it off ad i still am and i did on saturday and it is still like killing me but IDK what i should do i have like a brise from my mid shin to my top of my foot and i am constantly getting like these sharp pains all the way up to my knee everytime i move my foot do you think it is broken or could the bone just be bruised what should i do it is like dented in and it is like in about 1/2 an inch !! HELP I AM SCARED AND DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO !!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
