An iron just fell on my husband's head?!
Question: An iron just fell on my husband's head!?
but he does not want to go to the doctor and wants to go to work!. The bleeding has slowed significantly and he says it doesn't hurt and he's okay with me driving him and picking him up but I am afraid of a concussion and with him being at work, I just don't trust his coworkers to do the right thing!. What can I tell him to convince him to see a doctor or at least stay home!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have had a major concussion once!. Is your hubby ok,!? Does he have blurry vision, feel disoriented, slurred speech, bright lights bothering him, nausea to his stomach, any severe pain!? Bump!? Maybe he should take it easy and if he starts having any other type of head/neck pain go to the doctor!. For a concussion, you should just rest a bit!. Take Tylenol-acetaminophen!. I guess it is a moment of truth that only your hubby knows how he feels!. Hope he feels better!Www@Answer-Health@Com
If there was any bleeding at all he should go see a doctor!. A concussion can lead to bad things like blood clotting which can potentially be fatal!. I would know, this happened to me when I fell from a vehicle!. If he refuses to go to the doctor, the best thing to do would be to tell his boss that he's had an injury so he can not go to work!. Eventually he'll give in to the idea!.

Head injuries often bleed a lot as the skin around the skull is thin with lots of vessels,Im sure actually he will be ok,as long as he has no dizziness,blurryness or nausea!.!.!.thats what they told my son who cut his head open after smashing it on a table he infact had 3 injuries to the head in 2 weeks each time in the A and E and each time sent home with the answers i just gave you!.!.!.I think he is just fine and just needs to keep an eye on how he feels for the next few hours!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If he's at work and this is a WORK related injury and he DOESN'T report it, tell him he will NOT be able to get any kind of treatment for the complications he may suffer AFTERWARD!. Tell him to get off his big Macho-Man horse and get to the hospital!.
