It depends if you CAN bend it but its tight your lucky its not broken just jammed!. To let it heal correctly get some bandage (ace) or a bandage you can put on it thats small!. If you don't have that then use tape!.!.!.pull the jammed finger straight!. Then the finger next to it thats good tape them together so its like they are glued!. That is the best way to heal a jammed finger!. Itll take a couple of days!. If you can't however bend it I'd go see a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Jammed!? I dont know what that term means in relation to your finger or any thing else!.
My immediate thought from your description, is that your finger is broken!.

Check to see if it is stuck in something!.
IE: If you jammed it in the car door, your finger would still be there!.!.!.
