Go see an orthopedic doctor!. There are many knee problems that can not be fixed/helped with braces!. The less expensive braces with the circle cut outs or the ones with a J pad (found at Walmart and pharmacies) generally help only with knee cap alignment problems!. More complicated problems such as ACL tears or damaged cartilage in the knee, require braces that can cost several hundred dollars and frequently don't fix the problem!. If your knee only hurts sometimes, get help now to keep it from getting worse where it hurts all the time!. Maybe all you need is a physical therapist to shown you some strengthening exercises for your leg that you could do on your own at home!. If you let things go and your knee gets worse, it could cost you a lot of money in the long run not to mention pain and suffering!.

No worst thing you can do it wear a knee brace or any brace unless a Doctor has prescribed it for you, or a Physiotherapist has prescribed it for you!. Once you wear a brace all you are doing is allowing the muscles around the joint to atrophy, waste away!. Knee pain is due to weak muscles so you really need to get specific exercise to strengthen those muscles!. Best of LuckWww@Answer-Health@Com

Go to Sports Authority!. They have some industrial-strength knee braces!. They cost up to $70!.00 though!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
