Question: How Can I Find A Good Doctor For My Mom!?
My mom is 80!. She has cancer and other serious problems!. She doesn't like her primary care doctor, he is uncaring!. An example: we just got the results of some tests she did last summer!. The person who read the tests said he saw evidence of heart disease and recommended to the doctor he do follow up testing in three months!. He has yet to mention it even though mom has been there several times since!.
Mom's trying to find another doctor but no one will take her because she's on Medicare!. Mom says it's because they can't overbill Medicare like they do private insurance!. Could that be true!? Is the medical profession that callous and greedy!? If you're not rich in this country are you just supposed to die!? How can I find my mom a good doctor!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not that this is much help but medicare!.gov has a section where you can specifically search out doctors that accept medicare patients!. There is also a web site called medicarerights!.org that is supposed to be for advocacy!. You can also try seniorsapprove!.com!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
