Question: I am allergic to IBUPROFEN what else can i take for cramps!?
i have taken TYLENOL but the pains gets unbelievable!. I HAVE SPOKEN WITH MY DOCTOR BUT HE SAYS THERE IS NOT MUCH THAT CAN BE DONE!. ANY WOMEN OUT THERE WITH ANY ADVICE AND WITH THE SAME PROBLEM!?!?!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try aleve and tylenol for medication!. Don't drink caffeine it makes cramps worse!. Also try hot baths and a heating pad!. If you period cramps are severe and your periods are heavy you can have endometriosis!. It doesn't sound like you doc is too smart because there are several reasons this can be going on and should be checked out!. Get a female gyno who has a uterus and will be more likely to understand and sympathize with your prob! There are a number of ways to treat painful periods besides pain meds and you need to figure out why they are painful so a doc can fix it!.

your cramps will lesson if you have something containing vinegar prior to your period- such as in a salad etc!.!. vinegar has enzymes that help eliminate cramping during the cycle!. But most effective if you consume it a week or so prior!. just for the record, tylenol is the worst! I use either advil or alieve, motrin works okay too but advil or alieve is best for painWww@Answer-Health@Com
I work with a girl who has the same problem!. She takes Pamprin or Midol!. Can you try another form of Ibuprofen!? I know if you take Advil during your "period" you will bleed much heavier due to a blood thinner in the Advil, however Motrin does not have a blood thinner in it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
How about naproxen (aleve)!? It is an anti-inflammatory like ibuprofen!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Try Pamprin Extra Strength or Naproxen---I don't know if you already tried aspirin!.!.!.!.but I do know that if you got cramps something is not so right, so maybe you need to find u another doctor!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
