I cann't sleep after doing sport?!


Question: I cann't sleep after doing sport!?
I notice when I do sport for long time I cann't sleep easy!. However, when I dont do sport ( or light sport), I can sleep!. Any reason for that!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you get your adrenaline up and don't give yourself plenty of time to unwind, you'll have trouble sleeping!.

If you work out from 9:30 to 10:30 and try to go to sleep at 11:00, you'll be in for a long night!. I don't remember the exact chemical reasons now, but I know that you get an energy boost after exercise!. It's not like a shot of caffeine, but it does get everything moving and -in my personal experience- keeps energy levels higher than they would otherwise be, for the rest of the day!. After a few days of regular exercise, people usually have a much easier time sleeping!.

Are you possibly having trouble sleeping because you're sore, or overstretched something!? Or maybe -if you play team sports- you're releasing physical tension but still have pent-up aggression!?

All I can recommend based off of my limited personal experience is that you exercise before 5 PM if at all possible!. Earlier in the morning would probably be better!. If you're on a team, try to relax about competition and leave it on the field!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
