ok guys it might be a gross question!.!.!.!.but i have a ingrown toenail and its really painful!.!.!.and now i know that i must have it cut out or even removed all together!.!.!.!. please give me information on how its done and will it be painful!.!.!.ive put it of going to the docs but i cant handle the pain anymoreWww@Answer-Health@Com

I fell your pain!. I am not seeing a podiatrist for a foot problem!. and when your feel hurt nothings good!.
Put it this way!. the removal or treatment will hurt only while the Dr!. inject a numbing agent like Novacaine!. to numb your toe!. but it will hurt for a day or so and get better and not hurt anymore!. YEA! It's like a splinter it hurts a lot and getting it out hurts but when it heals!.!.!.!.!.hey what splinter!?!?!?!?

Yes it will be painful!. But what you could do is soak your foot in some very hot water or as hot as you can stand it & that will soften the nail, & then you could work the nail up to the point that you can clip it off, as it will be soft enough to work with!.
