How should I bathe child with stitches put above the left eye?!
Question: How should I bathe child with stitches put above the left eye!?
My son recently fell in the tub and had stitches put in above his left eye!. He's two and loves to dive into the water as well as pour water all over his head and such!. What's the best way to give him a bath!. He had two stitches removed Monday and has to have another one removed tomorrow so how can I possibly give him a bath!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well you don't want the bath to be boring
soo i would fill the tub with water and then put all kinds of toys in it and distract him so that he doesnt want water over his head!.!.!.
and you can also get tiny water guns and maybe spray him when water so that the cut doesnt get as wet and when he gets out clean the cut!.!.

Just bath him normally!. At this point it won't hurt them to get wet as long as the skin looks like it's stuck together tight (in medical terms, "well-approximated")!.
If it's not the only other thing you can do is to put an occlusive dressing over the laceration!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just bathe him as usual!.!.!.!.when it's over and he is dry!.!.!.!.disinfect the cut w/ peroxide or something like it!. I am sure he has a lot more of these to come!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
