Funny that you ask the question at this time!. I just had a minor operation last Wednesday(May 28) and I had a spinal!. When the needle was inserted in my middle back,it was really nothing,hardly felt it!. It was weird when I woke up!. I had thought the the surgeon had cut my legs off!.No feeling from belly button down!. It was about three hours later when i could feel anything!. How the nurse checked is to slap my butt as that the last to get full feeling back!. Why do you ask!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yeah my brother had a spinal tap done!. I think that they try to numb it up a little at first!. He said he felt a lot of pressure and afterwards he felt fine!. But he ended up getting a really bad headache from it!. He couldn't even sit up!. But he didn't listen to the doctor when the doctor said that you are suppose to lay down for an hour after having one!. If you do end up getting the headache the doctors say you should drink a lot of coke!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
i have had one!. they do hurt, but the annoying part is that it is a strong pressure pain!. it feels like someone is just pushing a hammer into your back for about 5 minutes!. Just pray that you dont get a spinal tap headache!. that happens when some fluid leaks into your body, and it will be the worst migraine x10!. Enjoy!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
I had one years ago and I had my husband hold my hand because I was afraid I would jerk and not know it so he held me all the way through so if your ever afraid of a test tell them you refuse to do it unless you have someone you know with you its alot easier!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I have actually had five of them!. I was 7 when I had my first!. I don't remember them hurting that much, but the head ache after was the pits!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
