Question: Bruise or fracture!?
about a week 1/2 ago my friend of mine and i put a jeep on its side while off-road, i tore some muscles in my back (already had that checked out) but on the inside of my right foot below my ankle, a small bruise showed up, about the size of my thumb!. now just this morning i looked at it and it was the size of my hand and swollen!. i went and had it checked out the nurse-prac!. said it was most likely a bruise that was just now surfacing!. it doesnt really hurt i mean i can walk on it and its fine but, should i 2nd guess her opinion and get x-rays and look for a fracture!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

if u can walk on it, it is prob just a bruise, although it may be a very small hairline fracture!. keep ice on it, and if i were u i would go and get it checked by a doctor, just to be on the safe side!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I guess it is not a fracture since you are able to walk!. Moreover it seems more like a sprain since it is swollen!.
You should consult a doctor as the doctor will know whether you need a X-ray!.

If it's the ankle and you can walk on it, it most likely won't be a fracture (if you put any pressure on a fracture, it will HURT!)!.
If it were a toe, I'd say it was a fracture, but I doubt that for just below the ankle!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it is possible!.!.!.but just watch it!. its a good sign that you can walk on it though so i wouldnt worry too muchWww@Answer-Health@Com
