If it was red, that means she may have hermmorhoids or lower intestinal bleeding, caused by some medications and foods or hard stool!. If it was BLACK, that means she had some gastic bleeding (bleeding of the stomach) or bleeding that may have occured in the upper intestines usually caused by ulcers!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I'm not a doctor, but I'v heard it could be either an Ulcer in the stomach or a tear in the anal lining!. The tear will be painful but will clear up!. The ulcer can be serious and he should see a doctor for that!. The Doctor I know always asks if it's bright red blood or Dark red Blood!. Again all of these issues should be brought up to a doctor!. Most insurance companies have 1 800 nurse on call 24 hour numbers!. I would recommend that he call his treatment faciility!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
