Well Delta Queen!. This was DynoDikk, remember me!? Lou Argo!. Anyways Methadone is supposedly suppose to be the lightest on the kidneys and the lightest on the liver!. However I will tell you this, from me being on 200Mg's a day!. I was always, urinating, At least five times in the middle of the night!. I weaned off the drug totally and about a month after it was gone I did take one 10mg Methadone pill!. Ironic, I felt pain in my kidneys!. And it was bad!. I think Methadone does a lot more damage to people than what they are saying or claim that it is not suppose to do!. I can go on forever on all the health related problems I have discovered after the stuff was totally out of me!.

My opinion is that Methadone does damage your kidneys and if science has proved otherwise, how can science validate this claim with a person that is on several other meds and or diet!. However, again there is a lot of overwhelming evidence that Methadone is light on everything!. I do not believe it at all!.

I still have major urinary problems!. But again, I was on just methadone and I knew it was doing something to my kidneys!.Period!.

I regret the day I ever went on Methadone for pain!. I cannot change that now, but a year after the fact!. If I take one Lorcet I withdraw!. Such a low affinity grabbing opiate really thows your body and your system into complete chaos!. Fine when you are on it, but when it is out of you!.!.!.!. you realize what it did to you!. The books must be re-written on this and I might have to be the one to do it!. And the thing is, when your on the stuff, of course your not gonna realize the damage it does!. It becomes your blood and how can you feel anything when your on the most efficient pain-killer in the world!?

THe problem is that the Medical profession indicates that Methadone is a superior alternative because of it's less acceptablity for addiction!. It does provide of course the low rate of mental addiction!. In other word's because of it's long half life and flat latitude of blood levels it eliminates the need for a person to psyhcologiaclly think they need more of an opiate!. Good!? Well what about the physical addiction (Actually dependence) it is doing to your body over the long term you do not realize!? If you were not full blown dependant on opiates before Methadone you will be worse than a Heroin addict after the fact!.

Where a conventional opiate gives the body time to be normaladjust throughout doses, Methadone maintains a constant grab on receptors and a constant grab that impedes all normal body function!. It leeches normal Vitamin and mineral metabolization and screws up everything!.

This is exceptionally detrimental over time and remember 10mg's of Meth is like 100 milligrams of morphine so if a doc thinks he is protecting you from addiction by giving you a pill that is smaller in MG calibration that a 80 Oxy, remember they are only looking out for number one!. 100 Mg's of Methadone a day compared to 1,000 milligrams a day of morphine looks a lot better on paper to the DEA!. And sadly that is what it comes down to!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I take 120 mg of methadone and my kidneys are working just fine, for now!.

Hey, thanks for the heads up!. I'm going to keep an eye on my feet and ankles for now on!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
